Accolades and press
My books, photographic work, blog and writing have been featured by BBC One Breakfast, BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, the Guardian, the Telegraph, the Independent, former Jamie magazine, Delicious magazine, BBC History mag, and more. I’m also frequently contacted to consult on historical food projects for clients like the National Trust of England and museums and asked to come on radio and tv in Britain and Belgium to talk about British food and culture. I am also one of the two judges on the Belgian version of The Great British Bake Off: Bake Off Vlaanderen.
On May 2015 I was named in The Telegraph as on of the 10 top foodie instagram accounts. INSPIRED magazine included my website Miss Foodwise in the top 100 of food blogs in the world.
Regula was shortlisted for an award from SAVEUR in 2013. My photo’s have also been shortlisted for the Pink Lady Food Photography Awards in 2015 and 2016.
The blog was awarded Best International Blog in Italy in april 2017 by the Cucina Blog Award.
In 2017 my book Pride and Pudding was shortlisted for the prestigious Andre Simon Award and the Fortnum & Mason award, it also won a World Gourmand award for the UK.

Regula Ysewijn is a food writer, stylist and photographer, with a particular interest in historical recipes. he is a Great Taste Awards judge and a member of The Guild of Food Writers, as well as one of the two judges on 'Bake Off Vlaanderen', the Belgian version of 'The Great British Bake-Off'.
